Photographing events is so much fun! I have photographed many different types of events for many different clients and love getting to be a part of these special moments. Each event has a different story to tell and capturing it through a gallery of images is a really special thing for me. So many little fleeting moments just begging to be memorialized. Here’s what happens when you show the gallery to people: someone who did not attend will wish they did and those who did attend the event will be able to relive the amazing memories that they made!

I will work with you ahead of the day of the event to ensure there is a plan of action for the day so that I don’t miss any important moments. Whether they be things that are happening, interactions/reactions that need to be caught, important people in attendance, or any other aspect of the event that is important to you, it will be remembered forever in your gallery. Parties, a conferences, conventions, a grand openings, concerts or news-worthy events, you name it, I have the skills and experience to capture it the way it deserves to be captured! I operate with a high level of professionalism and work well with people so that I am always a positive presence at your events.

I’m not really a “show up and wing it” kind of guy. Don’t get me wrong, in a pinch, I can adapt to changes and still get the job done, but the best way to actually capture the story behind an event, is for us to discuss beforehand. This doesn’t mean I need a schedule of what will be happening every 10 minutes. Just an overview of the timeline of the event, important milestones happening during the event, important people who will be there, what you want to get out of the gallery, and any other details you think I will need to know. Doing this will help me properly capture the story and emotions of event, giving you the photos you (or your target audience) will connect with and cherish. This also will help me be more unobtrusive during the event. I won’t be pestering you about details day of, I will know what I need to do and know what to expect. You can just be yourself and enjoy the day.

I also will be a positive presence at your event, being exactly as engaged or out of the way as the situation deems appropriate. For more formal settings like conferences or performances, I will stay out of the way, not causing distractions or issues. I’ll have a plan for moving throughout the space as covertly as possible. For more fun, lively events, you can find me engaging with guests and getting people excited for impromptu photos! You’ll get a good mix of candid photos capturing real moments and emotions, some fun posed shots that your guests will love, and detail shots that show all the hard work that went into the planning!

Gallery delivery typically happens within 1-2 weeks of the event (that timeline can be longer if I am delivering a very high number of photos, that is something we would discuss before the event). You’ll be able to view and download your photos any time. There will be no download or licensing fees after the fact (unless we have already previously discussed that). You already have enough on your plate planning an event, so let’s make the photography part as easy as possible. All I need is a phone or video chat to get lined out on the details, and I’ll handle the rest!
