Stone’s Throw Productions has partnered up with My Bib number to photograph race events all around Colorado. They have decades of experience photographing race events of all types and have developed a state-of-the-art software that uses facial recognition to get every racer their photos quickly and accurately. No more searching through endless galleries for racers to find the photos taken of them. Using our system and software, we can have tens of thousands of photos ready for racers to purchase the day after their race.
My Bib Number reached out to me to head up operations and photography for the races. We have been developing and refining our systems for over 2 years and recently had a huge success photographing the Imogene Pass Run that goes from Ouray to Telluride, Colorado. We specialize in longer, more intense races that are difficult to properly capture, but will be photos the racers will cherish forever. We tell the story of their journey through the race course by capturing each racer at multiple pivotal moments in the race, showing the ups and downs they pushed through on their journey. We highly value quality photos that will be a beautiful memento for every participant and can capture thousands of racers giving each one multiple amazing photos to chose from. The my Bib Number Software provides a smooth experience for everyone involved and is a huge step up from what a lot of races use today for photo sales and distribution.
The way we capture events ensures that no participant gets missed and everyone will have beautiful photos of themself to chose from at the end of the day. Every participant will receive the photo of them at the finish line for free and have the option to purchase additional photos taken of them throughout the course. We do not change you anything to book us for coverage and will actually be a source of revenue for you since we offer profit splits on photo sales. That’s how confident we are in our service!

Meet the Team
Photography and technology are in my DNA. From family nights, as a child, spent viewing my father’s slide shows to embarking on my own photography journey in California during the digital revolution.
From transitioning Denver's iconic Ride the Rockies (from a film) to a digital service to introducing numerous events to the game changing benefits of selfie searches. I've remained at the forefront of technological innovation in event photography. I started photographing race events in Colorado and have continued it in the UK. I have decades of experience photographing high profile race events and know everything it takes to do a good job. This experience showed me what is needed on the back end to ensure everything goes smoothly. Thus, I developed the My Bib Number software aimed at providing the best experience for racers, race organizers and photographer alike. Today, My Bib Number continues to innovate with new features, aiming to set new standards for the industry.
This journey led me back to Colorado where I teamed up with Will at Stone’s Throw Productions to photograph the Imogene Pass Run. Here I witnessed Will's undeniable skills and dedication and was inspired. I eagerly anticipate merging my experience and our cutting-edge technology to surpass event organizers' expectations, redefining the impact of event photography for their events.

Telling people’s stories and capturing real emotions through photography lights me up like nothing else. I founded Stone’s Throw Productions in 2021 to be able to do this full time and I’ve been living my dream ever since. I have photogarphed hundreds of events and have exceptional organizational and management skills.
I grew up immersed in the trail running community. I was participating in race series in my home town, Colorado Springs from a very early age. The people at these events are some of the best out there and so naturally they are people I enjoy working with. I love the race community and am so excited to be contributing to it as a photographer.
Martyn approached me in 2022 about collaborating and bringing his tried and true model in the UK back to Colorado where he got started. Since then, we have developed a system and a team of excellent photographers to be able to photograph any race event to the highest of standards. There has been a lot of prep along the way, but his race experience and amazing software paired with my work ethic and photography knowledge have created something special that we want to use to help people.
