Iceland’s beaches are made of beautiful black sand. Here is a beach left completely undisturbed except for a single pair of tire tracks left by what the locals refer to as “super jeeps”. We were riding in this “Super Jeep” to a glacial ice cave tour and made a quick pit stop at the beach. Looking back at the tracks we left on the beach gave me feelings of adventure, beauty, and loneliness all at once.
